October, 2008
The campaign is now in high gear. Our message is on the airwaves and in the papers.
As you know, this is a large, rural district. Yet we've visited
all 27 towns, and continue to knock on doors. I've had the opportunity
to hear from even more rural voters at many events. The best part
of my campaign has been meeting you, the voters and listening to your
concerns and issues that are important to all of us.
As the election time grows closer, I hope that each of you will take
time out to exercise your right to vote. We thank GOD that we
have the distinct privilege of being born in the USA and in the Great
State of Missouri. We give special thanks to our veterans and
military personnel for preserving the freedom that still prevails in
our lives.
For all the kindness each of you have shown me at your doors and at
events where I have met you, I thank you from the bottom of my
heart. Remember Margaret Mead once said, “Never doubt that
a small group of thoughtful, committed persons can change the
world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
Warmest
Regards,
