Dear Supporters,
What an incredible journey the
last 13 months have been! Along this
journey, you have walked with me every step of the way. You gave your time, money and other
resources. You reached out to your
friends and neighbors and wrote postcards, made phone calls, knocked doors, and
stuffed envelopes. You encouraged and
inspired me. Words cannot express how very grateful I am for all you have done. I could not have come as far as I did without
all of you.
Although the result was not what
we hoped for, I do not regret fighting for the issues that matter to working
families, seniors, teachers, children, and so many others.
I tried to run a campaign that
would make you proud – one that accentuated the positive and my qualifications
for the job.
It has been an honor and a
privilege to work for our ideals alongside you.
You gave me energy and support. I
am very proud of this campaign in every way and have no regrets on any part of
how we conducted this race. We were
committed from the beginning to run a positive campaign that was both ethical and
moral, with no exceptions, and we did that.
I now have more time for family and my law practice.
Finally, I was humbled by your
willingness to come forward and support me in any way you could. Your commitment, passion, and friendship, new
and old, became a source of strength for me.
God bless you all.
With sincerest gratitude,
Kristi L.
